For a few months now, the Community of Madrid has approved a new provision establishing that, from now on, any dealership located within the national territory can join the MOVES Plan of the capital.

What does this mean? Simply that the person requesting the aid can process it in Madrid, even if the car was bought outside the community. 

To do so, it is essential to meet one of the following requirements:

• Pay the vehicle tax (IVTM) in the capital
• Or be registered as a resident in the Community of Madrid

Only then can the MOVES Plan be requested in the capital regardless of where the vehicle was purchased.
