DealerBest receives the “Special Strategy Award”

at the 5th edition of the International Mobility Awards

May 9, 2025 | The International Mobility Awards, organized by Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible with the support of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, the CONAMA Foundation and the Royal Academy of Engineering, held their 5th edition awards ceremony today.

The event

Institutional representatives, the jury, award winners and members of the Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible platform gathered at an event where the 13 winners selected by the jury, made up of leading experts from more than 100 initiatives, were announced.

The award-winning projects stood out for providing innovative and distinctive mobility solutions, where the drive for sustainability, the integration of new technologies and the improvement of urban and interurban quality of life took centre stage through impactful and replicable projects.

Initiatives seeking solutions for transport decarbonisation, mobility in rural areas and the optimisation of charging infrastructure also stood out.

The event featured the participation of José Antonio Santano, Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, and Pere Navarro, Director of the DGT, among other institutional representatives.

It also featured a multidisciplinary jury, highly qualified and deeply committed to sustainable mobility, innovation and social responsibility. A jury made up of high-level profiles from public institutions, academia, research centres, large companies and the media, such as May López, from Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible; Sara Aagesen, from MITECO; Isabel del Olmo, from IDAE; and other leading representatives of the sector.

Special Strategy Award

DealerBest has been awarded the “Special Strategy Award” for being an example of strategic vision with the VIVe project: Spain's first 100% electric rural carsharing service, in collaboration with Hyundai. A project that aims to improve mobility in rural areas by developing software and a mobile app that enables the shared use of 100% electric vehicles.

This project not only reduces CO2 emissions, but also facilitates transport for residents of municipalities with limited resources and public transport options, allowing users to access 100% electric vehicles on demand. It also supports local businesses, promotes knowledge of electric mobility and carsharing, and offers an alternative to the need for multiple vehicles in families in rural areas.

The International Mobility Awards seek to distinguish good practices and initiatives in mobility, in both the public and private sectors. Their objectives are to showcase success stories and help drive the best solutions that generate results with positive impacts in the short, medium and long term, thus contributing to achieving the goals more efficiently.
