European Mobility Week 2020

Mobility in Spain is in a state of constant transformation. A wider range of options is being offered to get from one point to another. This change in the way people move has led institutions and companies to adapt to a new reality. Given this transformation and the drive for more efficient mobility in large cities, sustainability plays a fundamental role.

The European Mobility Week is held every year, a campaign aimed at raising awareness about the excessive use of cars and its negative effects on the environment and health. For this reason, sustainable mobility is promoted by offering alternatives to traditional ones. This initiative was created in 1999 and, as of the year 2000, has had the support of the European Union.

Dealerbest, a leading company in solutions for the automotive sector, could not remain oblivious to this changing situation. Therefore, and with the aim of promoting new, more sustainable mobility models, we launched the projects Bequikly, Qcar by Bequikly and developed the Carsharing Rural mobile app VIVe by Hyundai.

Bequikly

Bequikly is set to revolutionise shared mobility services by offering its users the chance to enjoy the car they need depending on their circumstances on a subscription basis, by the minute, by the hour or by the day.

Quikly is the first mobility model exclusive to dealerships, enabling them to monetise their idle fleet through a service designed to minimise risks and maintain control over users and vehicles. In this way, dealerships add a new, profitable and secure source of income to their business.

Qcar by Quikly

The Qcar by Quikly model, a joint shared and sustainable mobility project between Dealerbest and FAGENAUTO - Federation of Official Agent Associations -, allows official services, through technological platforms, to create mobility ecosystems in their area of influence using vehicles that are already registered and, in most cases, idle.

With Qcar by Quikly, vehicles are picked up and returned at controlled points: dealership workshops, train stations, private car parks... In this way, official services and agents are guaranteed that vehicles are always monitored and in perfect condition, thus creating an economically sustainable and profitable project.

VIVe Hyundai

Mobility problems do not only arise in large cities. That is why we collaborated with the VIVe Hyundai project, the first rural carsharing service in Spain with 100% electric technology, developing the Carsharing Rural VIVe app for Hyundai.

The residents of Campisábalos, a municipality in the province of Guadalajara considered by the World Health Organization to have the cleanest air in Spain, have been the first to enjoy a project that aims to solve the mobility problems of its inhabitants without compromising the quality of its air.

In addition to citizens' concern for the environment, there is also concern for their health as a result of the health crisis caused by COVID-19. Users are demanding more sustainable and safer mobility, and at Dealerbest we are working to meet this demand.
