Since last December 9th, residents of Otura, a small municipality in the Vega de Granada region, located 12 kilometers from the capital, will be able to enjoy their own carsharing service as an alternative to public transport in the area.
And, you might be wondering... How can a town with fewer than 7,000 inhabitants sustain its own shared mobility project? The answer is very simple: VIVe by Hyundai.
What is VIVe by Hyundai?
VIVe is the first shared and sustainable mobility project carried out in rural areas or in "emptied Spain".
This project was born as a result of the agreement between Hyundai and Dealerbest, with the aim of providing a response to the mobility problems of towns in Spain where public transport does not usually have frequent schedules, forcing residents to adjust their lives around these timetables.
In a society where the idea of ownership is becoming less and less rooted, VIVe brings great benefits to those people who, for various reasons, do not have a personal vehicle or, even if they do, do not want to use it, at a truly affordable price for everyone.
Why choose VIVe?
VIVe is a great option for four main reasons:
The first is because it has been the first project designed to make life easier in municipalities far from provincial capitals.
The second is because it is an electric car. This means it does not pollute, thereby protecting the rural environment where it is installed. In addition, it is easy to handle because it is an automatic vehicle. Its driving comfort will turn VIVe into a whole experience.
The third is because it is a digitalized project. This means that VIVe works through a mobile application, available on iOS and Android, through which the vehicle is booked and paid for, also using the app to open, start, and close the car.
And lastly, and probably the one that interests you the most, is that VIVe is completely free for the first three months of use. From the fourth month onwards, payment is made per use and its price will not leave you indifferent, we assure you!
So... have you made up your mind yet?
And so you can see that we are not exaggerating, below we leave you one of the latest interviews conducted with the mayor of a municipality that is already part of this great family Who better to tell you about the benefits of the project than someone who is already benefiting from them?
Give it a try! What do you have to lose?
