We talk to Sara Sotillos, coordinator of the Escuela de Talento Comercial training program, who answers our questions about staying trained in the workplace.

Dealerbest joins forces with AMDA to open the School of Commercial Talent.

This training will be aimed at the automotive sector due to the great demand we have received from dealerships.

Dealerbest. Can you explain to us why the school was created?

Sara Sotillos. Simply... To provide an innovative and modern response to the sales departments of dealerships in demand.

Db. What exactly does the project consist of?

SS. Selecting dynamic and outgoing profiles, training them in sector knowledge, as well as in sales and communication skills.

Db. Tell me about the methodology you use, and how long does it last?

SS. The methodology was based on B-Learning, that is, blended learning, classroom and online, and we also complement it with internships at the destination dealerships.

We will develop all of this over 140 hours, at the IFEMA facilities, and there is a surprise... that I cannot reveal.

"We seek to provide an innovative and modern response to sales departments"

Db. And what makes it different from the current market offering?

SS. I can affirm! that the candidate has a real chance of employment, and we can offer this attractive option thanks to what we have behind us, as the dealerships have entrusted us with it.

Db. But, are you telling me that... if the candidate successfully completes the training, can they join one of the dealerships in demand?

SS. Of course, it is in their hands... as long as they meet their training commitment and the requirements agreed with the dealerships.

Db. Sounds great, but tell me... how much does it cost the student?

SS. First of all, we must mention that we have been able to fine-tune the costs thanks to the invaluable help of the dealerships in demand.

We set a registration fee of €325, which is 25% of the total cost. The remaining €925 will be paid once the student has joined the dealership.

"The candidate has a real chance of employment."

Db. It seems very beneficial, training and a job opportunity... but what happens to students who do not pass the training?

SS. So that there is no doubt about the effectiveness of the program and the level of confidence we have, we commit to students who do not pass the training. We will keep them in our candidate database in the Selection Department for future opportunities.

Db. After this interview, I am sure you are going to have a flood of interested people. Where can they sign up?

SS. Registrations can be made through our website: https://escuelatalentocomercial.dealerbest.com/

Db. Thank you very much, Sara, for your time and for explaining this very interesting project to us.
